i miss the old owners, part of the charm was the maximalist look! this place used to be full of joy and whimsy but now it just feels cold and sad.

Used to come here almost weekly. Didn’t come in for maybe two months, and apparently there are new owners. Stopped in today, and my god. What a shell of what it used to be 💔 literally empty, dark, and just sad. This place used to be a landmark in the neighborhood. Between Jackson Park closing, and whatever this is, don’t even bother. Also not a single person greeted me or said hello. Part of this place’s charm used to be the caring, helpful staff

Under new management, this place has fallen. Nothing but expensive, boring crap now. I miss when this place was affordable. full of color and lively treasures! Now it's a desolate wasteland of glass. Jackson Square took this place down with it. It's so "clean" now that it's nearly empty. Part of the charm of this place was the maximalist look. I doubt anyone who once knew and loved this place will be back.

I went to this mall today. It was a pleasant experience. They had many oddities and collectibles. Only downfall for me personally, was the cleanliness of the store. I've been to much organized and neater antique stores in Illinois and Indiana. It's going under new ownership. So hopefully they clean it up a bit. Prices are a bit too high as well. It's one thing knowing what you've got and another trying to get more money for items that will whind up in the trash from not selling. Sell to appeal to the buyers.
