I got the Chicken Vesuvio, and it was delicious! Perfectly paired with peas and potatoes, it wasn’t too heavy but enough that I left more than satisfied. My husband couldn’t figure out what he wanted because everything looked so good, so he asked the chef to surprise him. He received a wild caught cod dish with a tomato wine sauce that had just the right amount of spice to complement the cod, but not take away from it. We will definitely return!
Had a wonderful time at La Fontanella. They shared their new vegan appetizers, pizza and a special eggplant puttanesca. Everything was delicious. This cafe is warm and inviting and the owners are wonderful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back! — with Patrice Sanfilippo.
I have loved La Fontanella for the past 40 years. Their homemade traditional Italian specialties as well as vegan and vegetarian options. A wonderful selection of seasonal salads, appetizers and entrees. A really lovely place to host events.
Dine with us on Tuesdays in October and November and enjoy 1/2 price bottles of select wines.
