Joined when it was golds gym....culture changed so I'm ready to cancel my membership......they make it next to impossible to get out. Dont recommend.
The front desk team is much nicer than the now closed Merrifield gym. This “new” location has outdated equipment and most of the machine handles like the lat bars are more worn out than the previous location. I would grade this an F compared to any other LA Fitness. They are not fixing the equipment as of 5/30/26. As of 8/12/26 nothing has been fixed. They are not even trying.

Best LA Fitness in the DMV Area! Highly recommend this Location, Great Staff, Staff is Very Welcoming, Very Clean and Well Kept, Awesome Machines, Vibez Feel Great, Feels more than a Gym a Place where you can Go lock in, Get a Great Work out and achieving your goals!💪🔥
This gym is way too over crowded and not properly staffed. Weights are all over the place. You can’t find half the dumbbells because they are scattered all over the gym floor. Machines are constantly out of order and other pieces of equipment (pins to weigh stacks and belts to the belt squat machines) are always missing. I would not join this gym.
