I usually don’t post reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The Director of Fitness (CD) at the Donald Ross LA Fitness has made my experience here very disappointing. Instead of creating a welcoming and respectful environment, CD often comes across as dismissive and unprofessional when members try to communicate concerns. I've been consistently going to gyms in the Southern US for over 40 years. I've never seen a situation where the Air Conditioning wasn't working for WEEKS and WEEKS in the middle of the Summer that was likely the hottest Summer on record. Even now I don't know for sure that the ac is working because I've never been in a gym with that is so consistently many degrees warmer than it should be. The equipment is good, and there's lots of it, but the uncomfortable temperature completely negates anything good about this place.

I joined in May of 2025 and to date everything has been going wonderfully. However today I had perhaps one of the most unprofessional interactions I've had wire someone in a customer service position. Two days ago I arrived to a sign indicating the pool was closed. When I inquired about it reopening I was told it wasn't technically closed and we could swim at our own risk which I did. Very Misleading about their monthly Dues !! after you sign up! they say one thing and do another, kind of Like a bait a switch, i signed up less than 2 weeks ago, and they will not give me a refund just awful experience!! already did a charge back with Chase Bank.

The LPRT had a weekend racquetball tournament in Reston this weekend. The LPRT officials said that any gym with two or more racquetball courts can invite them to bring a tournament to their location. I wish LA Fitness Woodbridge would invite them to play in their facilities; that would bring lots of business to their location.
