pool need s to be taken care of better, this summer caught a swimmers rash, went to doctor and this is what he said I had. Due to bad up keep of pool . other then that facuilty is great.
Been a member at this location for 5 years and have no complaints! Great friendly and clean atmosphere!
FYI for anyone looking to join a gym stay away from LA Fitness! They don't explain their membership policy very well and you may end up getting stuck in a very expensive contract!!!! They do not explain to you that you only have 3 days to cancel. It is not a very good business practice, especially when word of mouth is the best advertisement!!! The management keeps playing with the music by turning it down so that it can not be heard by anyone using the arobic equipment except for a old fashion static sound, however, sometime it just gets turn off, period. The early morning "elderly gym king" directs the music, circulates around the floor taking up everyones time, and is just plain a nuisance that no one wants to be "rude" to stop him. Trainer was less than competent and seemed to spend more time checking out the ladies working out in the club over paying attention to our workout. I canceled my membership, and they continue to hassle me about owing money. Of course, after I canceled, I called this location to verify the balance, and I was told "It's all good, you are good to go!" Obviously not. Don't waste your time here, find a real gym where the employees care about the quality of their work.
You can't even talk to the manager to get a look at this gym without the third degree. I had called LA Fitness a few hours earlier, and talked to a female employee asking if would be alright to come in, and look at the gym. She said no problem. I didn't get her name as she was talking like at 78 speed with marbles in her mouth. I asked her twice what her name was, still didn't get it. I was asked who I talked to, and I said I didn't know, because of this. He said the only female was Colleen, so I said it must have been her. ... read more
The gym is good, the hours are good, the location is good and the rates are right. But..... the membership staff is totally clueless and some are unethical. I have been attempting to renew my membership into a pay up front deal for a discount for 2 1/2 weeks and they still have not been able to get it right. I get told it will be taken care of and it will be correct in the next day or so. And so far, all promises and nothing has gotten done right. These guys stink!
The way you are treated is awful. All the staff cares about is money. The personal trainers are not any good.
