I’ve been a member of LA Fitness for a while, but my recent experience at the Brick location left me seriously disappointed—specifically because of how the manager, Rodney, handled a simple situation. I accidentally dropped my car keys (which also have my house keys) inside one of the StairMaster machines. I went to the front desk for help. If I could give zero stars, I would. Not LA Fitness Orange Park itself, well, it's not 100.% either. Not sure how they are actually handling this yet. My husband had us both join, and I have yet to be able to come, but they set him up with a personal trainer there (LAUREN O.). From the moment she started training him, she continued to ask about our marriage and repeatedly asked him to take her out because she's new in town and he's "Hot." I came from X-sport with Ericia and have been doing cycle with her for many years. She is the best instructor that I have ever had. She has lots of energy and dedication to her class. The class is so pumped-up until the people in class participate in motivating the class. I don’t know where she gets all her energy from, but it’s great. Keep up the good work Ericia. Beware Membership Prospects ! Dont walk away - RUN --The whirlpool hot tub has been flat broke busted out of operation for 10 ridiculous weeks -- LA Fitness does not plan to pay money to fix it or it would have been fixed within the first week.... LA Fitness Signature, located on Don Mills Road, is a great place to train your body. My personal trainer, Jose, is the best trainer a person can have. His services are worth every penny I paid and more. Jose is very professional in every sense of the word. He is very caring, intuitive, and effective in his approach. I usually don’t post reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The Director of Fitness (CD) at the Donald Ross LA Fitness has made my experience here very disappointing. Instead of creating a welcoming and respectful environment, CD often comes across as dismissive and unprofessional when members try to communicate concerns. There’s a noticeable lack of empathy or genuine interest in helping people — it feels more like a sales pitch than actual fitness support .
