I just joined the LA Fitness club in Paramus NJ. I love the club and today I took an amazing Yoga class! Club is greatly run and is super nice I just have one major issue that I need to addressI believe that political propaganda of any kind should not be shown at a health facility where people come to exercise. It used to be a great gym back in the day. Now it's hard to confuse it from a sewer. Always filthy, broken and missing equipment. Stay away!
If I could give them a negative rating I would. My elderly father was happy I purchased him a membership at this location to regain his health. They convinced him to buy a weekly training package. They consistently canceled his sessions due to a lack of staff to the point he was behind 25 sessions in 6 months (2 sessions weekly). They fired and changed trainers like you change underwear. It is super big. I have been here for 5 years which is a wonderful place. Definitely will continue and recommend.
This place has gradually been degraded to a level that at best can be described as a shit hole. The staff is rude and unwilling to provide any meaningful assistance. The management refuses to intervene or make any corrections to improve people’s experience. There is too much violence including shooting with bullets flying that gets addressed with inertia. Probably one of the filthiest gyms I’ve ever seen. Dust under where all the free weights are at the end of the gym. If you walk in the locker room with clean white socks they are black and dirty on the bottom. As far as infection control most bench’s and work out equipment are ripped and some have been out of order for weeks to months!
With Covid one has to be aware of their health . This is the dirtiest gym you can go to members urinate in the shower and crap in the whirlpool .
