I am disappointed in the child care services as they do not uphold child-teacher ratios. This causes unsafe care for children as they cannot be properly cared for. As a social worker, I am advocating for change. This gym had enough resources to remodel thwir facility, and yet, left the child care center unchanged and with low standards of care.

I have been coming to this gym for years, and overall I've always had a great experience. The gym area is well maintained, and I really enjoy the variety of classes that are offered. My only complaint is about an older, psycho woman who seems to monitor the locker room and confront other members. Unless she works for the gym, it's not her place to police other people. I've been going here for years before and after their 1+ million dollar renovation. I'm still enrolled only because I'm on a legacy plan that's about half the cost of their current plan. It's the most expensive gym chain in DFW, but it's not worth it. The men's bathroom is always filthier than my old high school, dried urine on the floor with a horrible smell and dirty throughout. I transferred to this LA Fitness from the Uptown Dallas location, and there are definitely some things I like about this gym. The powerlifting area is great, and having childcare available is a big plus for families. That said, the cleanliness of this location has been very disappointing. The Uptown location may not have had all the same amenities, but it was consistently cleaner. At this Denton location, the bathrooms often smell strongly of stale urine and are frequently dirty.
