The chef did not have gloves on touching the meat in the pan. He then sneezed and touched the meat again. I seen all of this while waiting to be served and nobody would serve me. I was standing for about five minutes and nobody was in line and they were not busy. I asked the receptionist can anybody serve me and they ignored me. I guess I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Very very very poor service!
La Fia is an absolute gem. I can't imagine a more perfect combination of food, service, and ambiance. Our server Natasha was exceptional; having worked in fine dining myself, I notice the subtle signs of thoughtful service and experience, like serving with an open hand, and everything felt effortlessly elegant. Awesome experience all around.
Love this place, a favorite for a nice dinner out. I often will go with just one other person or a group of four though since there's not a ton of space for a huge group. Not a negative point though, this place is lovely and intimate.
