I have used Laferriere Heating for the last few years for my annual furnace cleanings and had to call in for an emergency call on Sunday as we had no heat. We were charged a $485.00 for a Services Call/No heat, plus $366.10 for replacing the ignitor which cost on an average of $48 to $72 dollars, plus burner fee of $61.42 (not sure what this is). Totaling $912.52. I feel this was OVERPRICED and everyone I talk to tells me the same it was OVERPRICED. I would of thought the Service Call Fee would of covered the visit minus the... read more
I've been a customer here since 2021 and cannot say enough positive things. Trustworthy, informative, fairly-priced, reliable. Glenn is always on time, provides excellent service, and always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Denise is always helpful and responsive whenever I reach out to the office. Both are extremely personable and friendly and I'm grateful to continue supporting this great Maine business.
Boiler stopped working on a day that the outside temperature was 5 degrees. Within two hours of calling LaFerriere the needed components were replaced and the problem was solved. Outstanding customer service!
I can think of many reasons to support this family business! They are personable (Denise does reminder calls when you are due for a cleaning AND the night before an appointment), straightforward (Glenn tells you what he would do if he had your heating system), punctual (In the 10 years we have done business, they show up when they say they will), and reasonable (they know how hard you work for your money because they do too!)
