AMAZING food, top tier service. We had chicken cordon bleu, steak frites, the halibut, and cheese plate. All seasoned and cooked perfectly, would recommend all and I imagine everything else on the menu is fantastic as well.
Had a wonderful dinner here. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. My guests and I loved the food. Bouillabaisse, cordon bleu, trout and the namesake salad were all very tasty, well prepared, well plated and nicely portioned. I’d love to see the menu expand a bit. Maybe some onion soup, a croque, moules frites, lobster thermidor to round out the classics. Will return.
Food was excellent and the service was good as well. It was a bit noisy because it is a small place located in a basement.
My absolute favorite restaurant in Rehobeth Beach...Actually there is one problem. We go to La Fable for our anniversary every year - driving from NJ just for this wonderful bistro. We get dressed for a special outing and look around and men have ball caps on throughout the whole dinner, wear flannel plaid shirts and some even keep their coats on! PLEASE...TO THE MANAGEMENT...a simple dress code "business casual" on your web site or on the whiteboard located right outside the door may help...or a simple gentlemen, please rem... read more
