Ordered the parrillada (grill) for 2- the skirt steak was not enough for one (size of a tiny filet mignon steak), the short rib (1 strip for 2) was full of fat- not edible? When questioned they stated "yes thats all we provide"- desserts were a different price on different menus ( almost double)- not worth the $$!! If u want to eat authentic Argentine food with decent portion sizes La Fusta in Elmhurst is where to go! Waste of $88! Dont bother! Terrible customer service! Im ashamed as an Argentine!
I decided to try this restaurant during my visit to New York from California. I wanted to try something I have never tried before, so I decided on Argentinian. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. I waited about 15-20 minutes for my food (1/2 chicken, side of provincial potatoes, and a beef empanada). Prices were fair for what I got. The food itself was super flavorful and delicious. I would definitely eat here again if I am ever in the area. 10/10 recommend!
The kind of place where people welcome you with a smile, serve food that tastes great (and an awesome sangria!), and charge you reasonable prices. Can't go wrong here.
