The other night, me and my friend went out for our birthday, and we had a lovely server named Anya, it was obvious she was a little new, but she really just made the whole experience feel as though he had all been good friends for YEARS, and even managed to sell us on buying a whole bottle of wine. She just really elevated the whole experience
Nice place and very attentive waitstaff. Bruschetta was good. Sensation Salad is decent. Lasagna had excellent flavor and contained a healthy amount of meat. Only downside was all the cheese added on top - it was just too much.
Great experience at La Contea last night! I had the seafood manicotti and it was delicious. The portions and prices are also great, we all had leftovers for today. Our favorite part of the night was the live signing! Our server said Jim is there every Friday and Saturday singing, so we will definitely be back soon on one of those nights.
Been here about 5 times and every experience has been phenomenal. The ambiance, food, service, and prices can't be beat here in Baton Rouge.
