Have been wanting to try this place and so glad we did! We got rice and beans, chicken, pulled pork, beef stew, plantain and empanadas(that were freshly fried) Everything was so tasteful and the favors were amazing!! LeBron(not James lol) was super nice along with all his staff! Can’t wait to head back and try more!!
Such a great local spot right in Pennsauken! Everything we tried was flavorful, fresh, affordable, and the portions were very filling. We had the oxtail, pernil, arroz con gandules, red beans, empanadas, and a few of their frozen drinks. My Dominican husband definitely approved! I also love that they have lunch options under $10, which makes it such a good everyday spot when you want a filling meal without spending a lot. It was my first time dining here, and everything was fantastic ! The food was delicious, Cathy was so polite and patient with us.
I went there and purchased 3 cheese and ham empanadas which ended up being dry on the inside and hard on the outside. It probably was sitting there all day! I wish I had taken a picture before I threw it in the trash!
