La Clinica De Familia Dental, as well as their partners in care, have the most ridiculous waiting list for a new patient. SIX MONTHS to be seen. I have emergency dental issues, and because my insurance isnt accepted everywhere I have to go to La Clinica where it is accepted. They, La Clinica de Familia, Inc. is a Federal Health Center Program grantee under 2 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). La clinica is a well known medical/mental Health department, but when you have to stand bye for 27 minutes to speak to someone on the phone, it doesn't reflect much for supervision or management.
They do not respect the family and their values and morals. They allow their TFC parents to create an environment where the child is allowed to disrespect and ignore rules, their parents, and their educators. Communication is a joke. They say they want to reunite the family and work on behaviors and they don’t. They will strip you of your rights and expect you not to question it and then take forever in making it right because your rights shouldn’t have been stripped in the first place.
The nurses/MA's/CNA's are friendly but the receptionists and doctors are normally rude, the appointment wait times are ridiculously long and no one seems to be on the same page. The doctor I saw gave me a specific time and date to come back for follow-up lab work... turns out they don't do lab work during the time she gave me on that day, and wouldn't be available for hours. Then they couldn't figure out when I should come back. Out of the 3 pediatricians we've seen here (high turn over rate, I guess?) only 1 actually appear... read more
Mainly talking about a rude representative at the San Miguel Office by the name of "Alejandra". La clinica has always been our family clinic but personnel has changed some much throughout the years and with this change so have caring reps... I don't request special attention but I do ask for some caring attention to a request when needed. My son had a 9:30 appointment today for his age 11 immunizations and when we arrived we were told they didn’t have them. We were referred to the heath department which would be fine but we weren’t told beforehand and I had to miss Work and my son had to miss school time as well because of their in professionalism. This is not the first time by the way. A couple of times before the staff that answers the phones told me my son needed to see the doctor before he could get a referral. had to fire dentist takes for ever to get appt Dr doesn't listen need major work no plan going somewhere else! medical side is close to loosing me no follow thru have 2 major problems on hold do to poor management never return calls and no follow thru!
