For about a month now I have not seen this place open once, but the business has not made an update on why. So before you make plans to try it out, call to check if they're even open
First visit to this restaurant with a friend. She had a breakfast croissant with avocado, turkey and leaves with fries and I had a Mexican omelette that came with salad and toast. The coffee was very good and hot, horchata latte and Mexican mocha. They had a nice selection of Mexican sweet bread/pastries and various sauces for sale. Pleasantly surprised this place was really good. I had the Mexican mocha(house blend coffee,chocolate & vanilla syrup, whipped cream and a hint of cacao powder). I can't remember what the pastry was called but it tasted like granola with pecans it was super moist with whipped cream topping and strawberries. All the pastries looked really good. Will definitely be back to try more and to try their breakfast and lunch.
Have been hearing about this place a lot so stopped by to try it. Was a bit surprised the la dona croissant came with fries as a breakfast dish, but the fries were crispy and slightly overcooked, which is exactly how I like them, so zero complaints from me. My husband ordered the chilaquiles and asked for the spicier of the red/green sauces. The green sauce was recommended for being spicier but when he got his dish there was no heat to the sauce. I like this little bakery they have good pan dulce and mini cakes they coffee are fantastic and if you don’t find what you like the guy will make it for you
