There aren't enough words for me to tell you how great La Casita is. My friends and I have been coming here for a few months now, and it has become our spot. The price and the quality just can't be beat in this area. If authentic Mexican cuisine is your deal, this is it. I intend to eventually try the whole menu. If you just want some place with good food where you can have a conversation and try new things on a budget, look no further. Edit: Menudo and agua de Jamaica will change your life.
First visit, I spent $90 and tried a lot. Here’s the breakdown. Rice, is super good. Beans are mid, could use a littleee more seasoning. We got quesobirria tacos, which for $15 for 3 of them and it didn’t even come with consommé which is disappointing especially since it was extremely fatty (some people like that, I do not.) We also got loaded fries, they had so much potential but were highly lacking in cheese and toppings.
