La Casa has a very home-like environment - doesnt feel at all institutional. The owners live on site and all the staff are very friendly. It is located in a nice neighborhood, right on the city bus line. Its a 13-bed care home, and more than half the residents are younger - in their 30s, 40s and 50s. The food is very good - homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and attractive. There are several pets in the home: a chocolate lab, several cats, a parrot and two lovebirds! A very happy place.
