Met friends for dinner. Great that is a BYOB. Everyone enjoyed main courses. They have stepped up their game and it is welcoming and charming. Parking out back and on side. Had short ribs over parsnip mash. Lemon desserts. So good. They have dinner specials 3/4-6. Check online for changing menu and specials. Was bummed to hear they shuttered. Apparently a new French bistro in its place.
Go somewhere else. My review will be different than others, but as a local, I can say I was sincerely less than impressed. Went for Sunday brunch, 4 adults, one child. Let's start with the good: The food, when it does come out, is quite tasty. However, leading up to it...: On a Sunday, the restaurant did not have avocado (despite being a major item on the menu) and didn't even have pancake batter made (2 hours after opening). Outstanding food in a pleasant atmosphere. I have never had a bad meal here whether brunch, lunch or dinner!
