The cake that I received on my wedding day was beyond deplorable....it was stale and hard to cut....crumbled apart as we cut it....and the taste was horrible and what was worse Katie Liilliard wanted to offer me 30% off a future purchase as if I'd ever buy from her again! She stopped responding to our emails and basically tried to do nothing to remedy the situation. This was the worst. For my sisters wedding the cake was stale and you told her you would give her 30% off on her next cake. What next cake? I wouldn’t have served that cake to my dog. This is the worst business acumen I have ever seen. I suggest that you give my sister and brother in law their money back or we will continue to let the world know how bad of an experience this was. The only reason one star is given is because the cake was cute (plus you can’t give negative stars). The cake that was made for my cousin’s wedding was horrible. The cake and icing had NO flavor!!! It’s a shame that all the owner wants to do to make up for this is give a discount on a future purchase. They would never buy anything else from there to use the discount on!!!! We need to start holding these businesses accountable for their half done work....
I would give them a zero star if that were possible. But onto the experience; this bakery was booked for our wedding. The cake that was provided tasted nothing like the one my wife and I tasted during our cake tasting session. The cake we got for our wedding was hard to cut in to during the cake cutting portion of the reception. It was dry and many of the guest who ended up tasting it, complained about it.
