My husband and I were dining at La Belle Epoque tonight. The staff and diners were incredible during a medical issue we had. Including immediate attention and actions taken by the staff. I greatly appreciate there help as well as the meal they packed for us to go (comped). Thank you so much 10/10 ❤️
Chicken is very good as are the carrots and green beans. I also like the sorbet. French onion soup is a must. Sometimes the servers seem overwhelmed, they could probably use another person.
Even after a good nights sleep I'm still angry over my dining experience last evening to celebrate a very special occasion with my husband. The first glass of wine served to me had obviously turned. While the charcuterie board tasted delicious, my crepe was filled with mystery filling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! LA BELLE EPOQUE (The beautiful age) is the place to if you like good French Bistro food and quality beverages. HENRI & ELIZABETH were very efficient and helpful in their serving both my mother and myself. We went there on a weekday and sat on the front sidewalk table facing State Street.
