Randomly got a text from a debt collector. Thought it was a scam, but found the website for who they claim to be collecting a debt for. The site has a number for the billing department. When you call, however, there is no option for billing. Only options are 1 for sales, 2 for marketing, 3 for human resources, 9 for directory, 0 for all other calls. I was visiting MA as a Tourist with a Insurance the one I did provide to the hospital with a co-pay of $0 and now they are sending bill 9 months later saying I have a debt with them. Why would you do that?

This billing department has incompetent people working for them! Nobody knows how to send proper billing to masshealth! Now I have a debt! This is a job I studied for & actually can do better! Hire people with actual knowledge of how to bill proper emergency department bills!
