I got topsoil delivered twice from this new owner. although the customer service from when I purchased this was great, the delivery was done and put where I wanted it, the quality was not there. like with the other posts, there was glass debris and dime to nickel size rocks in mine. the previous owner of this establishment had great soil with little to no rock and no glass. I don't know if something is wrong with the screener they are using or what but glass should not be in there. I was thinking it was an isolated incident ... read more
I saw this business response in a Facebook group and my wife and I just want to stay my wife and I experienced the same thing. We had dirt delivered for our garden and it was filled with the same trash they mentioned. For the past 2 falls when we rake our garden we find more trash. We had trash bags full of it at the time and we thought we got it all out. It still makes me mad just thinking about it.
Diamond Landscapes response to the customer is ridiculous. We ordered some fill dirt for our backyard last year because we had a drainage problem at our new house and the dirt had trash in too. We complained to the owner and he did not care he told me that he had no control over it. He told me he gets the dirt from a compost pile but I dont think that is the truth. I still do not feel comfortable letting my kids or my dog walk in my backyard but what choice do I have?
The other reviews about trash in the topsoil are completely accurate. I made the mistake of buying soil from this place again this year after being told last year that it was just an isolated incident. Turns out, selling dirt mixed with trash is a standard business practice at this place. UPDATE: This company's response is laughable and frankly, borderline insulting. It's absurd to suggest that multiple nails, screws, broken glass, plastic, and pieces of metal occur naturally in the environment and is not within your control... read more
