We offered a premium to a home so we can be in our desired neighborhood. But then the appraiser showed up from out of town and put in the report stating location doesn't matter. Car dependent or not to Metro North doesn't matter to a highly NYC commuter based town, and being next to a park was considered less desirable than next to a hospital?
