I have a pair of vintage Harter industrial chairs with glides that are nearly impossible to find replacements for. When one went missing in a cross country move, I went to Ace and Home Depot with no luck. I could find them online but there were minimum requirements for orders I couldn't make work. I work refrigeration and picked up a Husky work cart a while ago. Just from being in my van (bungie corded into place, too), the ball bearings in the swivel casters disintegrated. By chance a coworker told me about LG Rathburn and after walking in and showing the gentleman the bolt pattern and asking for something a little sturdier, he went into the back to "build a set" for me and produced the smoothest rolling, most rock solid caster wheels I've ever had the privilege of using.
