Dumb lying customer service reps Sent out a fake lg rep with a magnetic sign on his crappy car Refused to address 2 repair issues They lied about when they can come out several times and scuffed and dinged up my new freshly Painted wall by taking apart a lg unit in my homes hallway Left grease marks on wall and new lg unit and did not have a ladder or step stool What? Zero Stars if it was available. I bought an LG refrigerator from Lowes and bought their 5 year extended warranty. Apparently they use L-electronics for their service issues. My issue is the water dispenser button sticks intermittently and when it does, the water doesn't stop! This happens about 2-3 times a month. When it first started and we called for service, the tech from this company couldn't get it to stick so he said there wasn't anything wrong, like I was lying. He is not knowledgeable on Samsung appliances. He won’t come with proper resources and asking customers to to help him out in his service. He is not able to answer simple questions. It’s very unfortunate why Lowes keep sending this guy for Samsung appliances service work
Poor customer service, unreliable. Refused to make parts replacement on LG product. If you need LG Service Center look for different company.
Keep away from L Electronics in Arlington Heights. They are a scammer who refuses to do repairs LG says are covered under warranty unless you pay them money upfront.
My LG TV stopped working. I brought it to their shop on Rand Road on a Saturday and they called me back Monday morning to say that they fixed it for $50 (it was apparently an easy fix). Their shop looks like a small shoe repair store and English is not spoken very well, but they were friendly, fast and helpful.
So my 52 inch LCD kept flickering and of course it was right after the warranty expired. I called a few places to get an idea and of course no one would give me prices over the phone. I called L Electronics and another service company to come and give me estimates. The other service company (which I will not name but wrote a bad review on their site) quote me over $300 on replacing a "board" and blah, blah, blah. Horrible service. Did not fix appliance and Tried to talk to manager to no avail.
I am amazed at how fast their repair took. I had a dryer that wasn't heating and they were honest and told me no parts were needed (even though other places claimed a gas valve was needed). All they had to do was adjust something and it was done.
