My favorite for years – I have been eating at Kyoto's for over 10 years and it is still my favorite restaurant in the city! Even my children love the food and ambience there. Lunch is very inexpensive and dinner is really not bad for a family of 6 considering you are eating sushi.

Big portions but a little expensive – This is a little too expensive for me with a family to feed, but it is good for when we get a night out alone. Everything is real good and it is pretty close to what I remember in Japan.

Good HOT japanese food – I've been searching all over Salt Lake City for yummy, authentic, and reasonably priced Japanese food (If you want the BEST cheap asian food in the USA get to San fran, new york, or honolulu). Kyoto has definitely satisfied my Japanese food cravings! I would recomend ordering a hot meal. The Unagi is delicious, also the sukiyaki. Sushi is pricy and didn't think the taste was worth the buck.

Delicious anytime – A family favorite for many years. The hard part has always been to choose which great foods to order. Expansion of the restaurant and the addition of the Sushi Bar did nothing to reduce the numbers of people who enjoy eating here. Come early or better yet, have reservations. They are also open for lunch which is a great value. Slightly smaller menu portions, but great savings. No question of authenticity as you observe the gracious staff dressed in traditional kimono attire.

Too dumb to live. – These guys are too dumb to live. The food is great, but they can't figure out how to make their business work. I've tried to order takeout a dozen times. Whenever you call they say "too busy, call back," and they're rude about it -- like you owe them money. Then you drive by and the parking lot is half full.

Great Sushi? – I recently stopped by for lunch and was not impressed with the sushi. Although the sushi was average, the pork cutlet lunch was very good and a great value.

Super Friendly! – The sushi was average, but the service was fantastic. This is a great place for a sushi beginner. Eat at the sushi bar. Don't worry if you've never used chopsticks or eaten raw fish before - Kyoto will make you feel at home.

Good Sushi – I typically visit the Kyoto once a month on average. I almost always get good service. I really enjoy the Sushi and other Japanese food. I've never gotten heartburn or an upset stomach from anything I've ordered. I would reccomend California Rolls, Spider Crab & Shrimp Sushi with a large Beer.
