The evening started well with a great atmosphere and some nice starters. Until they served the mains with a sea bass including the head where eyes were popping out and my wife lost her appetite. Nowhere on the menu it said full fish or anything that described this. Instead of accepting that she lost her appetite they kept pushing more food and we just asked for the bill so could pay and continue our evening. We had to say no 4 times to the staff. Kyma Flatiron is completely overrated and overhyped. We had a reservation but waited for an entire hour and were still never seated. The restaurant was extremely crowded, and the staff seemed confused, disorganized, and unable to give us a clear explanation or realistic wait time. Having a reservation should mean that a table is reasonably available, not that guests are left standing around indefinitely. After wasting an hour, we finally left. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor management.
Went here for my company dinner. The pre-fixed menu is pretty confusing and doesn't offer a great variety of dishes. The amount of food was not great for a big group and the dessert was so little
KYma did not disappoint! We had a lovely evening with delicious food and top notch service. The seafood was super fresh and cocktails hit the spot. Our large party moved downstairs post meal to dance off the calories and sing along with the perfect mix of music from the 70s - today. 2nd time visiting and we all stated we would definitely visit again.
