Nobody wants to need a cardiologist but when you do I highly recommend Dr. Barkley. I had a cardiac event that resulted in the need for a stent. Procedure went great and have gotten to know his entire staff including Julie his NP and Shondelle his nurse. Rarely are doctors efficient but Dr. Barkley and his staff have been exceptional and my appointments have been on time. Lots to be grateful for with this team.
Dr. Barkley stayed past his night shift to attend to me on a holiday weekend. He is very kind, gentle and very compassionate and I have recovered from a cardiac infection with his care and attention. Thank you Dr. Barkley!
Dr Barkley is VERY kind and knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen and form a plan. He does not just prescribe medication or order unnecessary tests or procedures. I was extremely pleased with the care I received from Dr Barkley!
He ignored my Dad and I. We asked him multiple times to take him OFF "Pacerone". This is while he was a patient under his care. Four hospital visits! He never felt the need for a angiogram!? Despite his past. Asked for pace maker multiple times! Yet you kept pushing pacerone! Even rolled your eyes multiple times while he was laying in the hospital bed. Then sent him home. You are whats wrong with the medical field. SELL OUT!! He died 1/13/2025.
