He will treat whatever he wants based on your numbers; labs, weight, etc. Doesn't really care about your involvement in your health care.
Great Clinic I see Dr Platz for my primary care doctor. Easy to get an appointment and easy to get a nurse call you back. I have recommend several of my friends.
Dr. Platz has been fairly unhelpful when it comes to answering questions and discussing health concerns, either in person or over the phone. It takes weeks to reach him by phone and when he finally returns my phone calls, he is short and seems impatient. In addition, he seems to favor referring patients to specialists rather than try to address the problems within his own office first (ex. eczema, inserting an IUD). Overall, my family and I have had very poor experiences with Dr. Platz.
