Unfortunately will not be coming back. In my opinion the doctor is somewhat unprofessional, pushing medication and not giving me full information when it comes to making appointments. Prescribed eye cream for my cat, did not do anything. Had to make yet another appointment in 48 hours that was all of a sudden canceled because i need to go to an “eye specialist” which was not recommended or said when i called several times to make the second appointment. We had a wonderful experience at this vet as new patients. Our cat’s right eye has been infected since Saturday evening, and Dr. Briggs treated her with such great care. Our cat warmed up to him very well, all things considered. Not only did he throughly look at her eye, he also examined her and gave us some pointers. The eye drops that he gave us have been working well and our cat’s eye is looking better already.
Absolutely wonderful. My cat broke her tooth a week or so ago, I was scheduled with a different vet that suddenly wasn’t able to help her. I called Santa Cruz Vet Hospital and they were able to get my cat in same day for an exam, and schedule an extraction procedure the following day. My cat was SO comfortable being in this office, the vet who saw her was amazing and gave my cat the space and patience to get comfortable before being picked up. This is easily the best vet I have ever brought my dog to. We stopped by on a road trip, and we were able to be seen super quickly. Very affordable, and the vet was incredible about helping us refill prescriptions on the road. Can't thank them enough.
Two stars for an amazing support staff. Great reception. Positive vibes all around. Zero stars for the gaslighting and trust betrayal of the veterinarians. They told me my pup was fine after a mass removal. Took her elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. She wasn't fine. Had to have a second corrective surgery. Went back to this clinic. Saw a new/different vet there. Really liked him. Gave the clinic a second chance with a second mass removal....they did it to her AGAIN. Same exact experience. We are done here.
