For pickups use 1440 Gieseke Rd which is about mile down the road. It is FCFS but fast to get you loaded, when one docks opens you back in take the ticket to the forklift operator and you're all set. You do have to have steeled toe shoes and an hard hat, but they will provide you with them if you don't have them. Containers haulers you will need to know your tare weight in kgs. There is overnight parking on the side past the scale house upon exiting.
Sincere thanks to the Willis Mountain Kyanite mine and to all who spent time and worked to put together that fantastic "Rockhound Day" that opened the mine for one beautiful day in 2022 (24SEP) to groups of collectors from EFMLS clubs as far north as Boston and as far south as South Carolina. Thank you for a great and SAFE, INFORMATIVE, and EDUCATIONAL day at your amazing mine! I wish there were more quarries that did this kind of community outreach & service
