I have previously brought my equinox here for routine oil changes with the last one being on Jaunary 13, 2026. At that time the technician advised me that I would need and oil flush in order to help the car run smoother. The technician also advised me of a known issue that would likely affect my vehicle soon due to mileage. He advised that the timing belt would likely get loose and said it wasn't something they could fix there. Do not go to this location. We brought in our car to get an oil change and to look at an issue with the engine. They told us it was a timing belt and never replaced the oil causing the engine to stop working. Please look for a different place to trust with your oil change. Addition: Kwik Kar has responded saying that they said they would fix it. They have never offered that option in all the times I spoken to them. They mention video on the issue.
