I went from giving KVH Emergency a 1 star to 5 stars since we’ve gotten so many new doctors from Yakima that are actually thorough & kind. Competent. I definitely miss Jocelyn Judd since she left- that was a hard one. Dr Romanko & Cruz are missed too. They really care. These new doctors are definitely a Godsend though. I am a patient that should have a frequent flier card because I have so many health issues. Might as well move in there. With that, I’ve been treated so poorly in the past. I took my friend to this ER for extreme blood loss due to a month-long period, an experience she’d almost died from before. We’d gone to urgent care right before, and they said that she needed to go to the ER for an emergency ultrasound. Upon arrival we talked to many staff members who asked us the same questions over and over again. Received a $600 bill for basically being put in a corner, forgotten about, and then told i was overreacting. Not great.

Unless you're dying, they'll treat you like you're a total inconvenience and/or making things up. I came in for an issue that very well could have been a medical emergency. Although I wouldn't have known had I not come in, that's kind of the point. I was given derogatory remarks coming in and on the way out. I know they probably get a lot of people who come in with nothing wrong, but it's still your job. An ER isn't a place to make assumptions.
