good food，worth for value，friendly
Amazing find - the only Filipino restaurant on the Isle of Wight. Food was fantastic. We had tempura prawns, a pork Filippino curry and tofu kare kare, then ube cake to finish. The kare kare was a really tasty peanut sauce, with vegetables - aubergine, green beans and Chinese cabbage - alongside the tofu. Everything was beautifully presented. The pork sisig was absolutely wonderfully delicious, its my favorite dish and i always get it when i go Philippines, everything was just right about it, was just missing the calamansi and soy sauce, the cebuano lumpia also was tasty just a shame there wasnt more sauce, nice selection of wine and drinks, a shame they had no red horse at the time, would love to come back and try other things on the menu. This was a lovely surprise find for us, as we were looking to try a different cuisine. The food was great, prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous too. We had to wait a little longer for our food, but the restaurant made up for it by serving us Ube cake at no cost. We’ll definitely look forward to visiting again on our next trip to the Isle of Wight.
The food at Kusina is always delicious - home made and bursting with flavour. Portions are huge, and you can take food home if you can't manage it all! The service is friendly, cocktails are lovely, and the prices are very reasonable. Nothing not to love!
