Appetizers are ok with exception of Falafel,- written as spicy on the menu, too salty but not spicy at all.. With exception Tuna, all entries severely oversalted.
What an amazing hidden gem that we were able to find. My husband and I were planning to meet another couple for dinner, and Kush Modern checked all the boxes for a fun Friday night out. A cozy, intimate setting with great atmosphere, yummy cocktails, foods we can share (even w/ one person being gluten free), and everyone got a different dish, which we we call sampled. Chef Saba from Kush catered a sit down family style dinner for us at a nearby warehouse for 95 people. The experience working with Chef Saba and her staff was incredible from start to finish! The event started with her beautiful charcuterie boards (highlight was the lamb pastrami) followed by a four course family style dinner. I've been dying to try this place, ever since I learned that Saba had opened a restaurant! My mom and I loved how cute the atmosphere was and the simple touched (like little rug drink coasters! My mom and I had the trip of dips and lamb meatballs for an appetizer. For dinner I had the braised beef over couscous and my mom had a salad! Everything was so great and loved all of it!
We ventured out for a date night and fabulous experience at Kush. The small space tucked behind a bustling square is a beautiful escape. Our server Jackie was delightful. She and the main chef of the night Sara assisted in accommodating a dairy free menu for my partner (many options, went with their recommendation).
