My husband and I recently visited Kurtz Corral and overall had a good time! We booked and paid online the day before, which was very easy and convenient. The property is a little tucked away, so definitely keep an eye out for the signs as you get closer. Before heading out, we watched a short instructional video about riding and handling the horses, and helmets were available—which I really appreciated. Except for the girl who was guiding us while we were riding the horses, the people here are very rude
We had a wonderful time on our visit! Shannon is an absolute sweetheart and made everything super fun and safe. I had never rode before and I felt confident. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
Beautiful trail rides with gorgeous sprawling, flowering fields and forests, lots of cute dogs, authentic country vibes, and friendly horses and staff. An amazing place to go if you like horseback riding, and must go on your annual Door County Bucket list. Open year round ( I think )
I have gone to Kurtz Corral twice now, I am an experienced rider I have been doing weekly lessons for three years. First time I went was nice, our guide was great and let me trot+canter in the field along with some extra trot for the group near the end, although after my canter we found out my horse was lame, I should not have been on that horse.
