We stopped here on a Monday afternoon in August while traveling in the area. I happened to see this on my google map while planning the trip aka it was on the way and I love music so we added it to our itinerary. The park is not well maintained. It is at the end of a residential street and there is not a lot of space to park. There are some plaques and such in memory of Kurt Cobain. Drove from Seattle just to visit this memorial and see the childhood home. Would have loved to do the Unplugged museum in downtown aberdeen, but it is closed on Tuesday. This memorial is not well kept and it honestly felt sketchy and unsafe to visit. I'm glad we stopped, but I would probably never go again. We were there around 11am and not the only fans coming and going. That stands as a testament to Kurt's impact! 30+ years after his death there are dozens of fans stopping by this memorial on a random Tuesday in August.
