July 2026 We came for the lunch buffet (adult - $16.99, 11am-2:30pm) on a Monday. The buffet comes with a free order of fresh naan. There were only a couple of others dining there. The restaurant was relatively quiet, service was fast, and the dining area was clean. The variety was good - 2 legume dishes, 1 lamb dish, 3 chicken dishes, 2 paneer dishes, other vegetarian dishes, rice/potatoes, and dessert (gulab jamun). I love the butter chicken with the Garlic Naan!
I used to love this place when I moved to Katy ~5 years ago. Was never a good sit-down place and that was OK for me. (It still isn't). But the drop in quality of food is astonishing! Combine that with the lost service mentality and arrogance of the folks who attend the call (owner included) it has seriously dropped off my list. I hope the owner and the team takes feedback positively (not my experience recently) and make amends. There is room for a good genuine Punjabi/North Indian cuisine in Katy. Don't blow it!
