Excellent way to view the Barron River Gorge, rainforest and mountains between Kuranda and Freshwater Station. Only one stop between stations for a 10 minute photo op of the Barron River Canyon. Otherwise you must have a fast shutter finger because most of the views only are visible for a few seconds.
I like how informative the leaflets and audio guides were. We went during a rainy day and unfortunately weren’t able to see Barron Falls at the Barron Falls lookout due to the fog. You can see all the fog from the photos. Either way, I’m still glad I did it and enjoyed it very much.
