Our car suffered a front diff issue on Sunday, heading from Lake Argyle to Warmun. Stopped at Kununurra for shopping, noticed oil on the side of the car, rang them first thing Monday morning, explained that we should be starting work (my wife is a remote area nurse) today. They told me to bring it straight in.. they had the required parts, fixed it and got us back on the road, although they were busy they squeezed my car in. Got to Warmun by late arvo.. Had our Landcruiser 200 series serviced.Asked if tyres were rotated as paid for them and have tyre monitors and were still in the same position.They were to ask mechanic that signed off yes so the next day they said they were not when fronted back on there door step ( not a phone call to confirm) So after they did do took for a run which was part of the service then after driving and going in the 110 zone that all lights came on dash and go back to Toyota.They then fixed saying it needed a doff burn off. Found we had a shredded fan belt Thursday arvo Called Toyota Kununurra and spoke to Pierce who said bring it in morning We arrived 10 minutes after opening at 8 am and Richard had identified problem and found the new replacement belt within 15 minutes However due to bookings for the day they couldn’t let us know they could fit the new belt till the arvo We are staying in our van at Lake Argyle couldn’t drive back and risk breaking remaining belt which coul gave stuffed the engine Richard rang around numerous auto shops in Ku... read more
