I would highly recommend Kumon Elmhurst to any parents. My kids started at level 5a. They didn’t even know how to count to 20. Now they are at level f and g (in about 4 years). Kumon made a great improvement in their English and Math, and really helped them excel in school. I think the Kumon way of teaching your kids step by step learning is what our kids need (what is lacking in our school system). It also helps fostering a strong sense of independent learning. I highly recommend Kumon of Elmhurst to any child. My son attended since he was 4 years old. He took math as well as English lessons. Kumon helped him accelerate in his school to the point where he won math awards and writing awards. Without Kumon I'm not sure that would be possible because in his school they didn't teach on such an accelerated level. My kids have been going to this center since 2nd grade! The staff really care about the children and their learning. During the pandemic the center pivoted to online learning with ease and didn’t skip a beat, while the schools were struggling to manage. It helped my children stay focused and on track academically. Thanks to Kumon, I have managed to improve considerably in math and reading. The teachers are very patient and always give me advice on how to do my job better. My mom says Kumon saved her in this pandemic. I look forward to meeting my teachers in person and personally thanking them for their hard work. I am very happy to be part of the Kumon family at Elmhurst. Ivanna (11 years/5th grade)
