We made the unfortunate mistake of booking this place through a third-party app. We were in Maui for a wedding and, being unfamiliar with the area, searched for accommodations using the ZIP code provided on the invitation. This “luxury condominium” appeared in the results, so we booked it. When we arrived in Maui, we discovered it was 53 minutes away from the wedding venue. It was nowhere near where we needed to be. Our family has been visiting the Kuleana for many years as timeshare owners. Whenever we need an extra unit or to add more days to our stay, we rent directly from Kuleana. The views are amazing; snorkeling with turtles on the reef in front of Kuleana is like “old faithful.” The grounds are beautiful and maintained impeccably. Nice pool. We also appreciate the friendly and accommodating front office team of Candy and Thom. We always recommend the Kuleana to friends/family and look forward to returning next year. We had an amazing stay at Kuleana Club The ocean view is absolutely stunning waking up every morning to the sound of the waves and that view of the palm trees felt like true Hawaii. The condo itself is very clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the space was organized, and everything worked perfectly. I had a deeply disappointing and concerning experience with this hotel. I had a reservation there in March. Due to active flood warnings in the area issued by local authorities and the National Weather Service, I made multiple attempts to contact the hotel to cancel for safety reasons. They responded that the property was safe and fully operational.
