Absolutely the best!!!!
We were genuinely excited to dine at ōkta while my family was visiting from out of state, but the way they handled an unexpected medical situation was shockingly rigid and, in my opinion, completely at odds with the level of hospitality you would expect from a fine-dining restaurant. My father became acutely ill several hours before our reservation, and because the restaurant did not open until 5:00 PM, I called at approximately 5:10 PM for our 6:00 PM reservation…essentially the earliest opportunity I had to reach them. Interior design was lovely, service was good. Food fell a little short in some courses. Particularly the main course- my steak was chewy (not in a good way) and way too salty. My husband spaghetti was good but nothing special. It was nice but I'm not sure it justified the price tag.
We had the best experience, William, Kerry and Kat crushed it! These servers made our experience perfect and they deserve promotion
We recently dined at Okta and came away with mixed feelings. The service was excellent from start to finish, and our server/sommelier was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely elevated the experience. There were definitely some highlights. The beet salad was very good, the crudo was fresh and well executed, the shrimp dish was interesting, and the cauliflower was one of the more inventive plates of the evening.
