Used them a second time after a good experience last spring. Dead pine in the back corner had started leaning toward the fence. Crew assessed it quickly, took it down in sections, and ground the stump flush with the lawn. That attention to the stump specifically is something I appreciated because other companies I've used just cut at ground level and leave a raised edge.

Had a large oak dropping limbs onto the garage roof for two seasons. Finally called KSD and they sent a crew out within two days of the estimate. The removal took most of the morning and they stayed focused the whole time. Nothing landed where it shouldn't, the chips were loaded up, and the yard was cleaner when they left than it was when they arrived.

As someone who has watched a tree job go wrong before because of poor safety practices, I paid attention to how the crew worked. They did not rush the difficult cuts, they communicated with each other clearly during the process, and the direction each piece fell was controlled. Good professional habits throughout.

Came to KSD specifically because a friend said they were the most affordable tree service she had found in the area without the work being sloppy. Both of those things checked out. The crew was efficient, the quote was honored, and the yard was clean after.
