Well, let me tell you that I had the pleasure of meeting Kay at K's bridal Center in Middletown, New York yesterday. Today my gown has been personally tailored to my figure and now I can say that I am proud to own the most perfect gown for our son's wedding. Just can't wait to wear it to our son's wedding! Kay, Kayla and Jamie all helped me to try on the gowns I selected and Kay pinned the gown for alterations and I have an appointment for a second fitting next week. I went to K's looking to get a quote for the alternations I needed on my wedding dress. The lady, the owner of the store, was very rude to me. I came to her because I have never had alterations done so I wanted a second opinion. When I showed her the dress the first thing she told me was it didn't fit me right, that it was too tight on me and "squashing me" but that if that was ok with me than "it's fine I guess." Horrendous customer service..this business offered to donate tuxes for a charity high school event then took back their offer after they didn't get enough of our students to rent tuxes from them for the prom..Shame on you!!!!
I specifically called ahead to ask if they had larger dress sizes to accomodate my bridesmaids. They told me they had many dresses to try on in size 20 or so. They out right lied. There was only one and it was the ugliest dress in the place. When I questioned them why they told me that I was told that those dresses are popular and people buy the samples right off the rack.
