Dr. Thompson has been my doctor for both my children. I honestly don’t think my pregnancies would have been so easy without her. When things were going on with my babies heart while pregnant she went above and beyond to get the answers we needed for reassurance just by looking at the expressions on our faces. My first time meeting her was the day I was induced my regular OB wasn't on call. Dr Thompson came in the room like she had no clue what was going on. I literally felt like I was my own OB. Luckily I had a nice nursed who helped me because if not my baby probably wouldn't have survived. After the horrible delivery I had I thought I was done and could enjoy my time as a mom to my daughter but nope. Worse thing came she had left my placenta in and I got really sick. The only thing you will get from visiting this doctor is a confirmation of your baby’s heartbeat. I felt so out of the loop my entire pregnancy. There was such a lack of compassion and most importantly education. Some things I remember ..: my genetic testing came back and I had no idea they even did it, I had a question about something I saw on my ultrasound and she made me feel so stupid (the comment I overheard her make to her intern about it didn’t help either); I was actually so upset I tried to find a new OB but no one ... read more
