If I could give 0 I would. I have so many debilitating symptoms and swollen lymph nodes all over my body and she told me to do deep breathing and counseling. Keep in mind I haven’t swallowed food in almost a year. Bloodwork came in abnormal and didn’t even follow up with me over a month and multiple texts to her that went ignored.
This doctor was terrible and just mean. My a1c got better after I made a suggestion for a better sensor, while she just belittled me for the crap she suggested not working. Once I realized that, I left. If you struggle at all she just makes you feel stupid about it. Glad I don’t have to ever see her again. Go somewhere else, there are much better endocrinologist around!
Incredibly unprofessional. Laughed in my face when I asked about lasting effects of using Lupron a for four years as a child. Asked if I had not met my height goals when she was looking at 5’8 self. Never tried to send me for testing to see why my thyroid was so low, just chalked it up to me being fat. When in reality the new endocrinologist I went to see got me my diagnosis for an autoimmune disease causing my low thyroid. My mom has tried calling Shah's office 4x for a new CGM. They have not responded!!! Apparently the transition to the Cleveland clinic was in name only. 🤬
I waited three months for a new patient appointment. My appointment was supposed to be this morning. When I arrived at the office, I found out that they had moved a month ago!!! Called the new office and they couldn’t even find my appointment in their computer. Considering how unorganized they are, I will never go to this doctor!
