I love Dr. Kruti Patel at OHC. She is extremely through and answers all the questions I have to ask her. I trust her with my health and my life
Dr. Patel, listens and takes care to understand my concerns.
Dr. Patel saved my uncles life. When he first went to the hospital (at a different facility) he was misdiagnosed and there was no sense of urgency to start treatment when they did actually determine the correct diagnosis. Dr. Patel was able to quickly diagnose and treat him. She is always kind and compassionate at every visit and, more importantly, she is always extremely thorough. Dr Patel didn’t seem at all compassionate about my mother’s care from the start of her becoming a patient. Last Friday I lost my mother and most of the care seemed to be trial and error and lack of communication from the physician. My mom had an infection that wasn’t relayed to us and it seemed that there were things that weren’t told I noticed the change in her but it seems they just kept medicating her and not getting fluid off of her. I witnessed Dr. Patel tell my friends that they could take their mom to another hospital in the mist of her being on her death bed because she did not like them questioning her care for their mother. This Dr. failed to provide the family with timely feedback/information, lacks compassion, and was rude. I am a former nurse on the exact unit that she worked and had never experienced a physician treat a family like that. She definitely is NOT a good replacement for Dr. Essell!
