We were very unhappy with the tone and bedside manner of the optometrist, especially toward our children. They felt rushed through our appointments and she lacked a basic sense of consideration toward them. We don't expect anyone to go overboard, but some warmth toward a nervous child goes a long way. We previously had a very positive experience with the optometrist we saw the previous year so this was particularly disappointing. We will not be returning to this practice.
Honestly, my last two visits have been extremely frustrating. Both were visits that were supposed to be very quick, as check ups on my son’s new Stellest lenses. We were convinced to go with Stellest at his last annual exam in March. We bought into this very expensive program because we wanted to prevent my son’s eyes from getting worse and the doctor seemed confident that it would help.
